In the summer of 2013, I worked full time as the marketing intern at Ars Nova – one of New York’s premiere Off-Broadway theaters.
In addition to assisting the marketing department with regular website updates, monitoring ticket sales, and navigating New York City’s theatre scene, I helped create daily promotional materials over the course of ANTFEST – an annual new talent festival that features one new play a night over the course of an an entire month.

Throughout my three months at Ars Nova, I learned about the many dimensions of running a small theater organization’s marketing office. I interacted daily with people from all different departments and observed the full process of a marketing campaign, from conception to launch.
