In the fall of 2019, I worked on the campaign for Scotland, PA, a brand-new off-Broadway musical based on the hilarious cult film of the same name.
This show, which takes place in a fast food restaurant, presented a unique opportunity for partnership activations. One of director Lonny Price’s big dreams: fast food in the lobby.

I partnered The Counter, a high-end fast food chain, to supply french fries on a daily basis for sale in the lobby. After working through a few fry-related challenges (how to keep the product crispy and fresh, the best way to bring the fresh “fast food” smell into the theatre, etc), fast food ultimately became an integral part of the production itself.

The Counter even added a special burger to its menu.
